![]() Playing Hyrule Warriors Legends on my New Nintendo 3DS and ahhhhhh this game is still so good If you're okay with games that aren't really games, and are more like movies you play a part in, it's worth looking into. ![]() And personal, in a way that's so intimate that it's borderline uncomfortable, like wearing somebody else's clothes. I got about halfway when it first came out, but then life got in the way and it was only last night that I resolved to sit down and see the rest. I also got around to finishing That Dragon, Cancer. I'd like to see the next game in the series do more with that. It also has this interesting gimmick where you pick which of the six characters you want to focus on, and you get the cutscenes that character takes part in, so if you play it again with a different main character you'll see different stuff (except where those two characters are together, of course). I love it when these games make me consider each move instead of just choosing whether I want to nuke everything or use basic attacks. Celestian Tales: Old North is a pretty short JRPG, but the story felt all the more impactful for it, and the combat was really tough/strategic. When I wasn't playing that, I was wrapping up some other games that I'd gotten partway through before but hadn't managed to finish. Managing multiple bases is a lot of fun, and there so many different things to research and new tools to build. I had never really messed with X-COM back in the day, and it didn't want to run very well on my laptop, so this was just what I needed. So I finally got around to giving Xenonauts a try. I realized that I didn't love XCOM: Enemy Unknown quite enough for me to want to pay full price for XCOM 2, but hearing all my friends chat about it still made me want to fight some aliens.
